In fact, anxiety and depression are fully treatable, and the efficacy and length of treatment depend on the following factors: (1) family genetic characteristics; (2) growth experience and family structure characteristics; (3) negative sexual event factors; (4) personality characteristics and coping and defence methods; (5) disease characteristics and the effects of treatment in the past; (6) effective establishment of support systems; (7) dependence of treatment; and (8) treatment methods and specialization of the attending physician.
