Rehabilitation training for paraplegics is based on the principles of promoting the functional rehabilitation of paraplegics, preventing convulsion and improving physical condition. Some families, even a small number of medical personnel, are often forced to “walk” when the body muscles of the patient are not able to sit or stand on their own, not only to achieve the purpose of walking, but also to reinforce the backsliding and pacing.
Paraplegic standing and walking training attention:
1. Applicable object: Persons with a certain motor function who have difficulty standing up and walking, or who have an abnormal position
2. Purpose
(b) To enable patients to rise from their seats, increase the muscles of their lower limbs and be able to stand steady;
(b) Improve balance capabilities and correct abnormal steps;
Improved walking capability to achieve normal walking as far as possible
3. Method of training paraplegics to stand and walk
(1) As a first step in the training, the patient sits and his feet are evenly placed under the ground, holding his hands fork and putting them on the small table in front of him (with both limbs reaching as straight as possible). The second step is that the trainer is on the side of the patient, with one hand to support the change of knee and the other to the patient ‘ s hip. Step three, ask the patient to bow and stand up.
(2) The lower side limb is responsible for the first step of training, with the trainers holding the patient ‘ s hips with their hands, so that the patient can stand as straight as possible and replace the burden. The second step, the foot step forward, or step on a short bench.
(3) Train the sick in the first step forward, and the patient stands up and stands up as far as possible, with a hand-lifting rail. In the second step, the trainer, on the side behind the patient, holds the patient’s hip with one hand and helps the patient to step back and take a small step forward.
(4) The first step in the patient’s walk is on the side, where the trainer is on the side of the patient, holding the patient’s hand and moving it forward, while the other hand is under the shoulder. The second step is to help patients move slowly and correct abnormal positions.
(5) Helping the patient to walk the first step in the rear, the trainer stands behind the patient, holding the patient ‘ s hip with his hands and making him stand straight. In the second step, when lifting the side lower limb, the patient is assisted in stabilizing the side lower limb and moving his/her weight slowly forward. In the third step, when a side lower limb is lifted, the patient will be assisted in moving forward and downward on the side hip.
