Sunshine gives life and vitality to the planet, but overexposed to it may cause skin cancer to fall. The incidence of skin cancer is increasing globally, and sunscreening is the key to our resistance to the disease. Here’s where we’re going to do a deep analysis of the sunscreen.
I. What do you know about skin cancer?
Skin cancer is a malignant tumour that occurs in the skin and is mainly classified as cytocellal cancer, carcinoma and melanoma. The causes of morbidity are complex and closely related to long-term UV exposure, such as the relatively high incidence of long-term outdoor work and excessive sun. Early symptoms of skin cancer include irregular shapes, blurred borders, coloured moles or spots, which may rise to form knots, accompanied by crumbs, crumbs or crushes. Base cell cancer is expressed in semi-transparent knots, scavenger cell cancers are red plasters or knots, and melanoma changes or new dark-colour changes, rapid growth, easily bleeding, itching or pain.
1. Ultraviolet
Ultraviolet rays are the main “probate” for skin cancer, which can be divided into UVA, UVB and UVC. UVC is usually blocked by the atmosphere, which has less impact on us. And UVA and UVB can drive straight in. UVA is like a “chronic killer” with long wavelengths, deep into the skin, damaging the gelatinic proteins and elastic fibres, leading to aging of the skin, wrinkles and, at the same time, an important factor in skin cancer. The UVB is like the “acute sub-rapid” with high energy, mainly in the skin surface, causing sun damage, red spots and, above all, a high risk factor for skin cancer. Understanding these “bad U” features is our first step towards sunscreening.
Physical sunscreening: My skin “Golden Bell Mask”
The physical sunscreen is called the “gold bell mask” of skin. An umbrella is one of these “cover doors” and it is recommended that the UPF 50+ umbrella should be selected, taking into account its UV protection coefficient (UPF) and the higher the value, the better the sunproof effect. The sunscreen is also a sunscreen “solar” and the specialized sunscreen material is so tight that it can effectively block ultraviolet light. There are also wide-banded hats, such as fishermen’s hats and headsets, which not only cover the sun but also provide extensive protection to the face and neck. The sunglasses, which protect vulnerable skin around the eyes from UV damage, reduce sunlight damage to the eye and prevent eye disease, should not be overlooked.
Chemical sunscreening: the “Invisible Guard” of skin
The chemical sunscreen product is the “Invisible Guard” of skin. The main components of sunscreen protection, such as titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, can reflect UVs like a tiny “reflective mirror”, while components such as Avozene and Aucklyn, such as “UV-absorbed sponges”, absorb UVs and converts them into harmless heat. When selecting sunscreen, select the appropriate sunscreen index (SPF and PA values) according to the different scenes. The daily commuting option is SPF30 – 50, PA++ – ++ sunscreen; for long-term outdoor activities, above SPF50, PA++ and ++ high multiples. It is also critical that the correct method of painting be applied evenly to the exposed parts of the face, neck, arm, etc., and that care be taken not to miss the ear, back side of the neck, etc., and that it be filled every 2 – 3 hours.
IV. Sunproof time: smart “dive” sun
In addition to the use of sunscreens, cleverly avoiding periods of intense sunlight is an important part of sunscreening. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., it was the strongest of UV rays, when the sun was as fierce as a “venom arrow”. The risk of skin exposure to high-intensity UV can be significantly reduced during this period by minimizing out-of-home activities, such as placing outdoor exercise in the morning or evening. Even during other periods of time, the sun should not tan for long periods of time and seek refuge in the shade in due course.
Skin cancer is terrible, but as long as we keep in mind this sunproof knowledge and build a sunproof system in all its aspects, we can effectively reduce the risk of skin cancer and keep the skin healthy and beautiful under the sun while enjoying the warmth of the sun.
