For tumour patients, it is important to choose the right food, which not only helps to improve health but also provides some support for tumour treatment. The following are recommendations for food that are appropriate for the patient:
1. Quality protein platinum: Oncology patients need to ingestion sufficient quality protein to meet body demand for protein, increase immunity and promote treatment of wounds.
High-quality proteins are derived from skinny meat (e.g. pork, beef, lamb, but with attention to diets), avoiding excessive consumption of yang food (e.g., lamb, dog, etc.), chicken, duck (require control), fish, shrimp, eggs, milk and beans.
2. High-fibrous foods: Increased dietary fibre recognition, such as vegetables, fruits, whole grains, etc., can contribute to the destruction of health and the prevention of constipation.
The recommended foods are wood, onions, spinach, cabbage, bitter melons, cucumbers, apples, bananas, flamingo nuts, pineapple, etc., which are not only fibre-rich, but also vitamins, which are of great benefit to the patients.
3. Cancer-resistant foods: non-cancer-resistant foods such as honey, potatoes, acne, cabbage, celery, carrots and tomatoes.
