Breast cancer prevention

1. Primary prevention of breast cancer (1) Weight control, balanced diet BMI is an important indicator of whether a person is overweight and meets the criteria for obesity. The normal body weight index range is 18.5-23.9 kg/m2. In order to prevent breast cancer, diets of low fat, low-processed and red meat, and high fruit and vegetables are recommended. More than five types of fresh fruit and vegetables are consumed daily to ensure adequate intake of vitamins and minerals. In addition, limiting or avoiding alcohol consumption, especially among women, should not exceed one drink per day to reduce the risk of breast cancer. (2) Physical activity, physical exercise. Studies show that 25 to 33 per cent of cancer cases are related to excess weight and lack of physical activity. However, regular physical activity can significantly reduce the risk of breast cancer, on average, by between 30 and 40 per cent. At least 150 minutes of medium-intensity exercise per week, or at least 75 minutes of high-intensity exercise, or a combination of both, are recommended. It would be preferable to have a full distribution of sports in order to maintain physical vitality and health. (3) Stress relief, emotional control. Night work is found to increase the incidence of breast cancer. It is therefore important to properly control and ease life stress and manage emotions. Avoid frequent night work and rationalize work and rest according to their abilities to reduce the risk of breast cancer. Secondary prevention of breast cancer – Self-censorship. Females need to pay increased attention to breast health after adolescence, and it is generally recommended that careful examination be carried out every month. The selection of the period of one to two weeks at the end of each period of menstruation is appropriate, and for women without menstruation, the examination may be fixed on a fixed day per month. The self-examination included the following steps: Two strokes: Light pressure on the breast in the direction of the clockwise, with a careful touch of hard blocks or other anomalies. Three-beders: Lie flat, put a pillow under the shoulder and repeat the “one-and-one” move, so that the breast can be examined more fully. Four twists: lightly press the nipple between the thumb and the index finger to see if there is an abnormal secretion. Regular self-testing of breast can help to detect breast problems early. The following anomalies should be observed in a timely manner: Through these preventive measures, women can effectively reduce the risk of breast cancer, maintain a healthy lifestyle and identify and address possible health problems in a timely manner.
