Breast cancer. How far are we? Breast cancer is one of the most common malignant neoplasms in women, and, according to the World Health Organization, there are approximately 2 million new cases of breast cancer each year, and the incidence of breast cancer in our country is increasing every year. The incidence of breast cancer is linked to genetic, environmental and lifestyle factors, which make it necessary for every woman to know and care about breast cancer.

The “lights” for breast cancer, which often have no visible symptoms at an early stage, may be an early warning for breast cancer:

Breast swelling: The most common symptoms of breast cancer are usually painless, hard, and marginally irregular.

2. Skin change: Breast skin may be dented, orange skin changes or bruises.

Breast spills: Non-lactating nipple spills, especially blood spills, should be highlighted.

Breast infiltration: nipple infestation without cause, possibly a sign of breast cancer.

Breast pain: While breast cancer is usually not accompanied by pain, some patients may experience breast pain.

How can breast cancer be detected at an early stage? Early detection of breast cancer is key to improving the cure rate. The following are recommended methods of inspection:

Breast self-examination: once a month, preferably 7-10 days after menstruation.

Breast color: For women under 40 years of age, or as a supplementary examination for mammography.

Breast X-ray (mixed): Recommends women over 40 years of age to do so annually.

4. MRI screening: periodic MRI screening may be considered for groups at high risk of breast cancer.

Healthy diet: Increased consumption of vegetables, fruit and reduction of high fat and sugary foods.

3. Weight control: maintain healthy weight and avoid obesity.

4. Hormonal reduction treatment: Try to avoid the long-term use of hormone-type drugs.

5. Birth and lactation at appropriate age: Maternity and lactation help to reduce the risk of breast cancer.
