Cervical erosion and HPV 6 positive

Cervical erosion and HPV6 positivity are two different but possibly interrelated gynecological health conditions. These two cases will be described separately below, and the connection between them will be explored.

First, let’s learn about cervical erosion. Cervical erosion is a common gynecological disease, which usually refers to the fine granular red area of the cervix and vagina at the external orifice of the cervix. This is not a true tissue erosion, but is due to ectopic columnar epithelium of the cervix into the vaginal part of the cervix. The occurrence of cervical erosion may be related to changes in hormone levels, infection and other factors. In most cases, mild cervical erosion does not cause obvious symptoms, while severe cervical erosion may lead to increased leucorrhea, contact bleeding and other symptoms. In terms of treatment, mild cervical erosion usually does not require special treatment, while severe cervical erosion may require drug treatment or physical therapy.

Next, let’s talk about HPV6 positivity. HPV6 is a type of human papillomavirus, which belongs to low-risk HPV. HPV infection is mainly through contact transmission, which may cause a series of skin and mucosa lesions such as condyloma acuminatum. Although HPV6 does not directly cause serious diseases such as cervical cancer, long-term and persistent infection may increase the risk of cervical precancerous lesions. Therefore, for patients with HPV 6 positive, regular gynecological examination is needed in order to detect and deal with possible lesions in time.

When cervical erosion and HPV6 positive coexist, patients need comprehensive treatment under the guidance of doctors. For cervical erosion, depending on the severity of the disease, medication, physical therapy or surgical treatment may be needed. For HPV6 positive, treatment usually focuses on boosting immunity and helping the body clear the virus on its own. At the same time, avoiding unclean sexual behavior and paying attention to personal hygiene are also important measures to prevent HPV infection.

It is worth noting that there is not necessarily a direct causal relationship between cervical erosion and HPV infection. However, the presence of both may increase the patient’s risk of developing symptoms or lesions. Therefore, for patients with cervical erosion and HPV6 positive at the same time, they need to pay more attention to their health status and have regular gynecological examinations in order to detect and deal with possible problems in time.

In conclusion, cervical erosion and HPV 6 positivity are two common gynecological health conditions. For patients, maintaining good living habits and mentality, and actively cooperating with doctors’treatment and monitoring recommendations are the key to prevention and treatment. At the same time, regular gynecological examination is also very important in order to detect and deal with possible lesions in time.

Nanjing Youjia Viral Wart Medical Research Institute published a research paper in the Academic Journal of Chinese Sexology in 2019: a case of giant perianal condyloma

acuminatum was treated with a patent prescription of traditional Chinese medicine.

Objective To explore a new method for treating giant condyloma acuminatum (CA) by external washing with patent Chinese medicine prescription. Methods a case of perianal giant condyloma acuminatum treated by Nanjing Youjia Virus Warts Medical Institute in June 2017 was taken as the research object. Patented traditional Chinese medicine preparations were used to give patients a course of treatment for one week, and the outcome was observed and recorded. Results The patient was a 52-year-old male with perianal vegetations for 0.5 years. Physical examination showed that the anus covered cauliflower-like lesions with an anteroposterior diameter of 165 mm and a left-right diameter of 113 mm, and was diagnosed as condyloma acuminatum by pathology. After 3 weeks of treatment, the remaining skin lesions were only 30 mm in anteroposterior diameter and 16 mm in left-right diameter. In the 8th week, the skin lesions were completely exfoliated and the epidermis returned to normal. Conclusion The patent prescription of traditional Chinese medicine for external washing opens up a new method for the treatment of giant condyloma acuminatum.
