Four easy-to-eyes, away from diabetes.

The visual health of diabetes patients is an issue that cannot be ignored. Diabetes eye diseases, including retinasis and cataracts, are one of the main causes of loss and even blindness among diabetes patients. So, what are our daily actions to prevent diabetes? The following four moves are simple and effective.

I. Eyeball exercise. Imagine our eyes being a small, flexible ball, and now let it move! Close your eyes gently, then slowly turn your eyes up and down, and each direction stays for seconds. This action promotes eye circulation, reduces eye fatigue, and increases eye flexibility!

Two: Look at it in the middle. Find a distant object and a close object, such as a tree outside the window and a book in hand. A few seconds first to look at the objects in the distance, then to look at the objects in the immediate vicinity for a few seconds, so that they alternate. This action helps the eyes to relax the muscles and reduce the fatigue caused by looking at things that are close to them for a long time.

3. Hot eye dressing. It’s like making a warm spa for the eye. Thermal dressing promotes eye blood circulation and relieves eye dryness and fatigue. Diabetes patients can do it every night before they go to bed, so their eyes can get “sleep care.”

iv. Blinking exercises. Blink! In the blink of an eye, the tears will be evenly spread over the eyeball surface and the eyes kept wet. Besides, blinking can help to remove the alien and bacteria from your eyes! So, remember to blink your eyes a lot, so let’s keep our eyes wet and clear.

Through these four actions, diabetes patients can effectively prevent the occurrence and development of diabetes eye disease. Remember, prevention is always better than cure, and let us act today to protect our precious vision.
