This is a study based on more than 1,400 healthy adults, which divides the defecation frequency of the subjects into four categories: constipation (1 – 2 per week), low normal (3 – 6 per week), high normal (1 – 3 per day) and diarrhoea (unusual). The results show that the defecation frequency of young people, women and the lower BMI population is relatively low and is easier to constipate.
