Some patients come to my clinic and say, “Why can I pee or not?”
First of all, let’s get to know the neurogenic bladder.
The treatment of neurogenic bladders should take into account the overall management of the patient ‘ s bladder and introduce individualized treatment programmes. The general principle of neurogenetic bladders is to reduce the risk of urea damage and to reduce the back flow of bladders; to protect urea, restore normal bladder capacity, restore low-pressure urine storage, protect renal function and improve the symptoms of urinatric disorders to alleviate the suffering of the patient ‘ s life.
It’s important to protect the kidneys!
Why can’t I pee without me?
Some patients may be able to pee because of external force, such as abdominal pressure, which is very dangerous for high-pressure bladder patients and leads to problems with renal water.
High pressure bladder division
High pressure during urine storage: Because bladder is an organ that stores urine, the limit for urine storage is 40 centimetres of water, the bladder is in urine storage, when the pressure is more than 40 centimetres of water, the kidneys cannot bear it, and the high pressure of urine storage is the most important reason for the kidney water.
High pressure for urination: We want to have a short and low-pressure urination, i.e. low-pressure urination, which normally is 20 cm water column.
Patients with abdominal pressure can be used, with only a portion of a large, low-pressure bladder available, and high-pressure bladder patients are not. It is generally recommended that urine be provided as an alternative to an autonomous bladder discharge to protect kidney form and functional safety. Combined treatments such as drugs, meat toxin, cystaltic neuroregulation, etc., are also being combined for the purpose of reducing internal bladder pressure and improving bladder capacity.
In any case, patients with neurogenetic bladders have difficulty in urinating and must not be subject to the test of excretion. The aim is to ensure the safety of the kidneys, reduce the bladder pressure and improve the safety capacity.
