The cause of breast cancer

Hello

everyone, I am Wang Hao, a physician. Today, I would like to share with you the causes, symptoms and medical treatment of breast cancer? What is breast cancer? Breast cancer is a phenomenon of uncontrolled proliferation of mammary epithelial cells under the action of a variety of carcinogenic factors. In the early stage of the disease, it is often manifested as breast mass, nipple discharge, axillary lymph node enlargement and other symptoms, while in the late stage, it can cause distant metastasis of cancer cells and multiple organ lesions, which directly threatens the lives of patients. Breast cancer is often referred to as the “pink killer”, and its incidence ranks first among female malignant tumors, while male breast cancer is relatively rare. With the improvement of medical treatment, breast cancer has become one of the most effective solid tumors. What is the morbidity of breast cancer in the population? According to the latest data from the International Agency for Research on Cancer in 2018, the incidence of breast cancer in women’s cancer in the world is 24.2%, ranking first in women’s cancer, of which 52.9% occur in developing countries. In China, the incidence of breast cancer is increasing year by year, and more than 300,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer every year. In the eastern coastal areas and economically developed cities, the incidence of breast cancer has increased significantly. According to the age of morbidity, the incidence of breast-feeding in China began to increase gradually after the age of 20, and reached the high value of 45 ~ 50. With the popularization of new treatment strategies and methods, the mortality rate of breast cancer in the world has gradually decreased. However, in China, especially in the vast rural areas, the mortality rate of breast cancer has not decreased significantly. With the advent of new treatment strategies and approaches, the global mortality rate of breast cancer is gradually declining. However, in China, especially in the vast rural areas, the mortality rate of breast cancer has not decreased significantly. What are the types of breast cancer? Non-invasive carcinoma, also known as carcinoma in situ, means that the lesion is confined to the primary site without metastasis. It can be divided into lobular carcinoma in situ, ductal carcinoma in situ and papillary eczema-like breast cancer, with a good prognosis. Invasive cancer: refers to the infiltration of cancer cells, and extensive invasion of surrounding tissues, prone to cancer metastasis, also divided into invasive non-special cancer, invasive special cancer, the prognosis needs to be combined with other factors. Invasive nonspecific carcinoma includes invasive ductal carcinoma, invasive lobular carcinoma, scirrhous carcinoma, and carcinoma simplex. This type is the most common, accounting for about 80%. In addition to the common histopathological types mentioned above, there are also some rare breast cancers, whose histopathological types are mostly derived from the microscopic characteristics of the tumor rather than its biological behavior, such as spindle cell carcinoma, signet ring cell carcinoma, etc.
