What is the normal range of blood sugar for diabetes patients?

The management of blood sugar for our diabetes patients is very important, and what is the reference to blood sugar management? It’s the normal value range for diabetes.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO) and the National Medical Association of China, the Diabetes Council provides for a total of 4.4-7.0mmol/L, which is normal, and a total of 5.6-10mmol/L for two hours.

There is, of course, an individualized stratification of diabetes, with no apparent complications, with relatively young ages and with a relatively short history of diabetes, who may have a normal range of values lower than the prescribed high normal value of blood sugar at the Chinese Medical Association, i.e. more stringent, i.e., within 6.5 mmol/L for empty abdominal sugar, within 8 mmol/L for two hours for blood sugar, to 6.5% for sugared haemoglobin, which is the standard.

In the case of older persons over 60 years of age, there are associated complications and a longer history of diabetes, who tend to combine diseases of other systems. Thus, for such a person, it is not too harsh to stress that the regulations are very strict, but only that they provide for an empty abdominal sugar, which is less than 7.0mmol/L, and for two hours after the meal, which is less than 10mmol/L, and for a sugared haemoglobin, which is less than 7%, even if it is within the normal range.

So the extent to which diabetes patients meet the criteria for blood sugar is not fixed, but is determined on the basis of the patient’s individual circumstances, and the diabetes patient needs to consult with doctors or nurses and others on his or her own level of achievement, and then better control of blood sugar according to this range! It is also possible to adjust the dose of the drug type in a timely manner, as well as the insulin injection, etc.
