The first reason is physical. In relative terms, young people are better and older human beings are poorer. The child has been skin-skinned, which may be fully healed and without scars in three days; the middle-aged have been skin-skinned, which may take seven days to heal and have scars. That’s the difference.
The second reason is the mental state of the art. You try to relax in your surgery, you’re too nervous, you have a high hemorrhage.
The third reason is gender differences. Men recover relatively slowly than women.
The fourth reason is post-operative ice dressing. It’s important that the first three days after the operation follow the medical instructions.
The last reason is that the post-operative diet is light and does not stimulate.
